Do I need to wait until probate or court paperwork is finished if I decide to sell?
No, often the courts allow you to begin the selling process before the paperwork is complete. 30-60 days prior to a finalized probate is fairly common.
Do I need to travel to FL if I decide to sell?
Not unless you want to. Everything can be handled remotely, including paperwork and closing through a state licensed Title Company who will guide you through the paperwork and send you a wire transfer or mail you a check on the day of closing.
There are still personal items inside. Do these need to be removed before a sale?
Not necessarily. I always encourage folks to collect important keepsakes and valuables, but if you decide to sell as-is, we handle all remaining personal items. See next page for additional details.
